Garlic Caper Green Beans

Take this to a party. Only mortals will say it’s too spicy.

1 lb fresh green beans washed and trimmed
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp each salt and pepper
1/4-1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp brine from jar of capers
1 tbsp capers

1. Heat olive oil in large frying pan over medium high heat.
2. Add green beans, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes and cook until half done.
3. Add garlic, caper juice, and capers and cook until starting to brown.
4. Serve.
