Air Fryer Hasselback Salmon

Fresh jalapeños for purifying your soul.

4 salmon fillets
2 tbsp blackening or cajun or creole seasoning
cooking spray

for “salad”:
1 avocado
1 jalapeño
1/2 a cucumber
tsp lime juice
salt & pepper

for sauce / sriracha aoili:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3 tbsps sriracha
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 teaspoons soy sauce

serve with steamed rice and top with cilantro

Chop up all salad ingredients in a bowl and stir in lime juice and salt & pepper. Set aside. Can be made in advance and refrigerated.

Whisk together all sauce ingredients and set aside. Can be made in advance and refrigerated.

Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. If you need to, preheat air fryer to 400. Slice salmon every inch or so making sure to leave skin in tact. Spray salmon with cooking oil and season with the spice mix you chose. Roll up salmon on its side and place in air fryer basket. Fry for 5-7 minutes depending on thickness of salmon (check on it after 5).

Plating: Place salmon over rice and top with salad, sauce, and cilantro.
