Cinnamon Serenity Pie
Extra cinnamon to protect against negative energy.
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 1/4 cups half and half
1/4 cup flour
3 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 pie crust, homemade or store-bought
Whipped cream and more cinnamon for topping.
I’m sure some folks will scoff, but I microwaved the cream cheese to soften it up. I also did this by hand, but you’re welcome to use a fancy stand mixer. I also use a pre-made crust, but make one if you want.
Shape pie crust into tin and set aside. Preheat oven to 350. Combine cream cheese and brown sugar until thoroughly blended. Add eggs and stir. Add half-and-half and stir. Add flour and stir. Add cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and nutmeg and stir until all blended well. Pour into pie crust and bake for 35 minutes. Let cool. Slice and serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
